When I first heard about the Cool Gel ‘n Cap, I was instantly interested, mainly because I have a 3 year old who thinks he is an extreme stuntman, or at the very least, a superhero. Ever since Jaden was a baby, he has constantly gotten himself into scrapes, either hitting his head or just being rough and rowdy. He’s definitely my rough and tumble boy.

As the mother of a toddler, I’ve noticed one thing when it comes to aches, pains, and the illusive “boo boo” – they’re almost impossible to actually make feel better because toddlers like to move and don’t want to be tied down. With three young children, I am no stranger to bumps and bruises. In fact, we have had several “goose eggs”, black eyes and bumps to the head. I would wrap a few ice cubes in a towel but my children refused to hold it on for enough time because they didn’t like it when the ice would start to melt and drip onto their skin.
The Cool Gel’n Cap is such a fun and useful concept that comes to the rescue when your little one needs all natural pain relief from headaches, head bumps and bruises. I even used it when my little guy had an earache and nothing else would soothe the pain. He loved the puppy style Cool Gel’n Cap and actually fell asleep about 15 minutes after we put it on his head, covering his sore ear.

If you have children, then you have had to deal with earaches, fevers, and the occasional bump on the noggin.  We usually treat these with either Tylenol or Ibuprofen, maybe the occasional ice pack.  Ice packs can be so burdensome for a wiggly toddler and a stressed mommy!  The creators of Cool Gel’N Cap were parents who experienced the frustration of trying to hold an ice pack on their toddler’s head after a bad bump.  Because of their experience, they made a product that easily keeps ice packs on our squirmy ill children.

One thing I learned pretty early on in parenting is that kids get bumps and bruises. While I spent most of the 1st entire year of my daughter’s life trying to protect her from these calamities, its just not possible these days. My daughter is a 3-year-old who thinks that she is completely bullet proof. She has even been given the nickname “dozer”! Most of the time things don’t phase her, but sometimes there are falls that she doesn’t get over quickly.
